Reykjavik, Iceland

Arrived to cold drizzly weather. Go to maximum 11 deg today. Spent day with Helgi, our fishing guide who took us around the Golden Circle to geysers, fault lines, waterfalls and amazing scenery as well as fly fishing! I gave up but Errol finally hooked a tiny (he is trying to correct me to say "small") Arctic Char in Lake Thingvillar. Think you are supposed to hoik and lisp as you say that!!  Found the only washing machine in Iceland that works, in the famous Laundromat Cafe! Great food upstairs but only one washer working and always a queue. 11pm but still daylight!  Off around Iceland tomorrow with rental 4x4. Might be a challenge on the right side of the road!!

    Sounds like quite a place. I am sure that as long as Errol catches anything....then it would be seen as a success. Weather sounds like it is here at the moment.....but a little warmer!!

      Thanks, hope Errol catches a fish today, although he keeps saying it's called fishing not catching for a reason!
